Remove Useless Shortcut in Windows Context Menu

When we install applications in Windows, it's Context menu or Start menu becomes too long and annoying us. Some shortcuts are very important but not all. These unused shortcut like to remove but their is no option to remove or delete it in context menu. To remove these shortcuts we need some changes in our Registry files. In Windows Operating System, information of all application and components are saved in these registry files. So its very important to make a backup before changing the registry files.

  • First go to Start then Run and type "regedit" then enter

  • Then click on HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellexe\ContextMenuHandlers .

  • All application folder are present, select the folder then rightclick on it and "Remove".
